Designing an App to Transform How People Network
Brand Identity, Product Design,
But you have no other options really. Sometimes people get their number then have to text over all their other contact info, or wait till it comes up in conversation, or interrogate it out of them.
Some people still use business cards, but tbh they’re kinda old school. Yeah, they make you feel cool. But most of them get thrown away by the end of the day (Sorry nature). Besides, nobody wants another thing to carry around.
But what if there was a way for you to share all of your contact info and social media in one tap? Wouldn’t that make meeting new people a breeze?
Our goal was to create a brand identity that felt fun, fresh, and simple. Link Up is an app you’ll whip out every once in a while when you want to share your info with a new friend. Since the tech is relatively new, it’ll most likely be an upbeat conversation starter.
During those moments, we wanted the app to feel refreshing and open. This parallels with how it feels to suddenly meet someone you really connect with.
The sky blue opens the eye the same way it does when you stare out at the ocean or the skyline. Each of the app themes achieve the same effect by leveraging the pastel hue and light gradient. We brought fun to the party by rounding the social icons and softening the edges of the tiles.
With Link Up, you can share all your social media and contact info in just one tap.
Set up is simple and takes less than 1 minute.
You can add a profile picture, bio, and links for all your favorite apps or websites.
You can display links on your profile as a list or as a grid.
You can even customize your profile theme and colors.
People don’t need to have the Link Up app or the Link Up tag for the tap to share feature to work.
Even if you don’t have the tag, you can use your Link Up QR code and profile URL to share your profile with new friends.

Gen Z is huge on personalization and self-expression. The way you express your identity is critical. We see this reflected across the market in apps like Linktree and Bitmoji. Link Up combines utility with self expression in a compelling way. It’s like Linktree on steroids. You can share your portfolio, website, and so much more.
We’re proud to have played a part in designing and launching the product.
